I am not sure if I can call this project “coastal”, but I do anyways because of its colors.
The beautiful woodwork of the sliding doors were almost invisible in the dark wood, so I think this transformation brought a lot of light and life to this piece.
If you want to know how I did it, check out this post from a while ago where I give you a full tutorial. I used exactly the same colors and techniques in this one, and although it can feel a bit boring to repeat the same finish in several projects, I never get tired of looking at the final result.
My customer was very happy with it, and so was I. I have the filling this will not be the last time I do this finish. Maybe I should give it a name.
Thanks for reading!
Patricia.
