White Coffee Table

I’ve had this coffee table sitting in my garage for months. I was planning to paint it and sell it, summer was so madly busy that I never had the chance to get to it. Last week my friend Liane told me she was looking for one to put in her basement, and I showed her the picture.
After having her green light to “make it pretty”, this is what I did.

Color is Intense White by Benjamin More. It’s lightly distressed and finished with Heirloom Traditions Barnwood wax. A beautiful shade of gray I tried for the first time and totally approved!

After seeing the table ready my friend said this one is going to her family room, which mea she still needs a coffee table for her basement. 🙂

*Update* Here are some pictures my friend sent me of the table in her room.

Love,

Patricia.

It all started in the spring of 2013. I realized how tired I was to see my house entirely decorated with IKEA stuff. Nothing against IKEA, but after 12 years, I just needed some change. I wanted stylish, original furniture, but noticed that everything I liked from retail stores was way out of my budget.

Thanks to Google, Youtube, and a couple of amazing blogs, I was able to discover and explore the world of furniture refinishing, and it was the beginning of my addiction. I now spend my days rescuing old, dull, unwanted pieces of furniture to give them a fresh look so they can be displayed, used and loved again for many more years to come.

Thanks for stopping by.
